Welcome Connor Showalter

Heck Capital is pleased to welcome Connor Showalter to our team. Connor is an Investment Analyst at Heck Capital. Connor will assist in investment performance examinations, reporting and analysis, and manager searches. In addition, Connor will assist Heck Capital’s Investment Advisory team in the research process. Connor is a graduate from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance. Also, during Connors student career, he was chosen by a committee of professionals to participate in the Applied Investment Management Program (AIM). This program offers hand selected students the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in financial analysis, while actively investing and managing in domestic and international equity and fixed income portfolios. The AIM program was the first undergraduate business program selected as a Program Partner by the CFA Institute. This partnership designation means that Marquette University offers a degree program that covers at least 70 percent of the CFA Institute’s Program Candidate Body of Knowledge, the CFA Institute Ethical and Professional Standards, and other requirements. Connor joins Heck Capital with prior experience as a Manager Research Intern for Summit Strategies Group, an investment firm, in Clayton, MO. Connor received a Congressional Nomination for the Naval Academy, and was awarded a Marquette Ignatius Scholarship to pursue his education at Marquette University. He also continues to participate in the Marquette College of Business Mentor Program, and with the Marquette Investment Club. Heck Capital is excited to have Connor join our team and we look forward to his contributions.
